I tried to use this book to explain Persian concepts to my grandkids, and I found it very difficult to use and inadequate. The book struggles to explain even simple concepts, such as how certain letters change form depending on whether they appear at the beginning, middle, or end of a word.
This book is definitely not suitable for young children starting to learn Persian. It's a heavy book filled with difficult-to-follow examples and has lots of mistakes. I would not recommend it.
In my opinion, the best book is still the classic first-grade Persian textbook that was published during the Shah's era in the 1350s (Persian calendar). You have made learning Persian more difficult than it needs to be.…
