Young Adult Involvement Programs
Chicago Persian School directors and educators are always exploring ways to keep Iranian-American young adults involved in the school and community activities. To that end, CPS provides a number of opportunities for high school and college-age Iranian-American youth to get involved as volunteer or guest. Young adults who choose to get involved can earn “community service” certificate for the hours that they have served at CPS. Such certificates are often useful for the high school and/or collage.

Examples of such activities are:
Serving as a “Junior TA” in Chicago Persian School Persian language classes (as long as familiar with reading, writing, and speaking)
Serving as a “Junior TA” in Chicago Persian School Persian extracurricular classes
Assisting with organizing events such as “Reading Buddy”, “Art Contest”, or “Community Outreach”
Be a role model for the younger students: join them in their class one day and share your story of growing up bi-cultural/bi-lingual. Encourage them in their efforts in learning Farsi.
Serve as an MC for the Talent Show (attending the training session and rehearsal is mandatory to qualify)
Use the school community (parents and/or children) as a free platform for testing and enhancing your "community projects", "speeches / presentations for your school assignments", or "an educational module".
