Introduction to Persian 2 (age 6)

Students become familiar with Persian alphabet through listening, singing, and word games.  They practice the basics of Persian handwriting and numbers.  Conversational Persian, words, and phrases are practiced through games and group activities.  Concepts are presented through a number of themes during the academic year, such as seasons, nature, food, body, and family.

A wide variety of hands-on activities and art projects make the learning fun and effective. Persian children songs and stories are used as the means to reinforce new concepts and vocabulary. Students also become familiar with Iranian holidays traditions such as Yalda and Nowruz.
