Academics

A smooth and efficient running of the school requires the constructive cooperation of every person involved. It is assumed that each student and his/her parents will become familiar with, and will adhere to these regulations for benefit of all.

We believe teacher-parent communication is the most effective means to improve the overall experience of the students in this community and to avoid any behavioral or academic difficulty.

In Chicago Persian School:
Books and notes are provided through school
Notebook, pencils, and other related stationary need to be provided by parents.
Teachers will be available through email to answer academic related concerns of students and their parents.

Enrichment classes will be offered if enough students sign up. Such classes will take place in the same location prior to or following the Farsi classes and may include (but not limited to) Persian Music Instruments, Introduction to history of Iran, Iranian Dance (ethnic or modern), Introduction to Iranian customs and values. Please contact school officials with your suggestions and interests.

Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the information session in the beginning of the year and continue their involvement with the school and their child’s progress. This will assure a more pleasant experience for all of us as a community.
Student’s evaluations and performance reports are provided to the parents or students of FSL classes two times per academic year. First report is due mid year and the second one at the end of school academic year.
